The summits in NYC, London, Milan and Tokyo were produced with leading industry partners including the CFDA, BFC, Conde Nast and Pitti. The company was acquired in 2014. With TheCurrent, Bacelar creates growth for brands & retailers by tapping into her extensive network of innovators, her knowledge of the global startup ecosystem and her ability to identify opportunity and creative partnerships.

A pioneer in the European start-up scene both as a serial entrepreneur, business leader and investor. Currently, he manages the Accelerator and Open Innovation Unit at H-Farm, a publicly listed company focused Digital Innovation & Education. He also represents Europe on the board of the Global Accelerator Network. In addition to his ongoing venture activities, Timothy is also the co-founder and vice president of Vinitaly Wine Club, Italy’s leading wine e-commerce platform and president of Zooppa.com, market leader in online creative crowd-sourcing.

As Chief Intelligence Officer of TheCurrent, Rachel leads the team future proofing businesses by delivering them first-to-market insights and bespoke knowledge solutions surrounding the evolving retail, technology and innovation landscape. She has a wealth of experience in this world as both a consultant in the space and an award-winning business journalist specializing in fashion and technology. She has contributed to titles including Forbes, Wired, The New York Times, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Business of Fashion and more. Rachel previously spent eight years of her career as a senior editor at trend forecaster WGSN, where she ultimately led the market intelligence team in New York.
